FocusWriter is a full-screen word processor, designed to provide a highly customizable, distraction-free work environment that allows you to focus on your writing. You can create multiple, completely personalized work environments by using background images, colors and font types of your choice, thereby creating an ambiance to inspire your imagination. The toolbar, which provides access to common word processing features, will hide out of the way while you are writing and only appear when you move your mouse to the edge of the screen, leaving you with nothing but your text to focus on. FocusWriter also includes productivity features that allow you to set daily goals and view live statistics about your progress (word count, page count etc.). Other features include as-you-type spell checking, tabs to switch between multiple documents, auto-saving and session support. Standalone software, no installation required.
