Tickr is a RSS feed reader that displays a news ticker along the edge of your screen that smoothly scrolls the latest headlines from your favorite RSS feeds. You can hover your mouse over the ticker to pause the scrolling and click on a headline to launch the associated link in your browser.The program is highly customizable and allows you to configure the size and position of the ticker, background color, shadow effects, scroll speed, as well as the way feed items are displayed.Tickr can import/export feed lists to and from OPML files and you can also add RSS URLs manually. Settings include: - Scrolling speed, update delay, fonts, font sizes and colors, dimensions and location of TICKR on the screen, displaying text inside a "draggable" window or without one, displaying or not a clock, and much more. (See the Screenshots page.) - You can bookmark your favorite RSS feeds, link TICKR with your favourite browser so that you can open links and watch web pages you're interested in with just one click. You can play, pause, reload the current feed, and change the scrolling speed on the fly.
