Wise Data Recovery is a simple undelete program that can help you find and recover previously deleted files. It performs a quick scan on the selected drive and returns a list of all found file along with their recovery potential. Unlike some other free apps, Wise Data Recovery does not support deep scanning, which can result in faster scan time but may miss many files. During our test, we scanned a USB drive and the program found 2 files. We then scanned the same drive with Recuva and found 35 files. If you plan to scan a very large drive and need quick results, give Wise Data Recovery a try, otherwise try one of the more in-depth recovery tools.
