PyTectonics was created in Python as a small 3D plate tectonics simulation software. It is designed to offer realistic terrain generation for enthusiast world builders. PyTectonics makes use of simple and scientifically defensible models to simulate plate movement. Mechanistic models are used where possible in order to reduce the guesswork while picking model parameters.
